Pandora's Rock

Dangerous neighbouring island held within the Malin family route system and repeatedly linked to restricted research activity.

Pandora's Rock is treated in estate and transit material as a dangerous but strategically important island near Asylum Rock. It is closely associated with Ulysses Malin, the Marsh family trail, and later records concerning unusual research parties in the 1930s.

The island's relationship to Asylum Rock is logistical as well as historical. Several records suggest Asylum Rock functioned as a controlled passage point for movement toward Pandora's Rock.
